GYM ACCESS

All members can gain access to the gym by using the members app or a membership card which will be issued at reception on the first visit after joining. It’s the members responsibility to access the gym using one of these entry methods. If you have any access issues, please press the assistance button by the access gates and a member of the team will come and help. Gaining access to the gym by using the members app on a mobile device or the membership card is only permitted by the named paying member. Any misuse of access will be dealt with in line with our misuse access policy in our term and conditions.

MEMBERSHIP CARD

One membership card will be issued at no cost to each new member after joining. Lost or damaged cards can be replaced by purchasing a new card for £5.

BOOKING FITNESS CLASSES

All fitness classes must be pre-booked via the Evofit connect members app to secure your place. All elements of class bookings can be managed in the Evofit Connect members app.

DRESS CODE

Appropriate gym wear and trainers must be worn to use the gym at all times. Work clothes, work boots, shoes and flip flops / sandals are not permitted ant any time.

MEMBER CONDUCT

We asked all members to respect other members and staff at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a member’s membership without a refund for the following reasons –

• Abusive, aggressive, intimidating, violent or disrespectful behaviour towards any members or staff. – Misuse or

• damage of the equipment or property.

• Persistent inability to replace weight discs or dumbbells on the storage racks.
   

CLOSING TIMES
Our cleaning team will access the male and female changing rooms half an hour before the end of each days closing time. We ask all members to vacate the changing rooms before the cleaning team arrive. Signs will always be put up to inform members of this policy and to inform members which area is being cleaned.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

We provide secure lockers in the changing rooms to ensure your personal belongings are safe while you use the gym. We also have quick drop bag storage racks within the gym which are not secure. We recommend only using the quick drop bag racks if you don’t have anything valuable in your gym bag. We cannot be responsible for any personal belongings which are not stored in the lockers, quick drop bag racks are used entirely at members risk.

PERSONAL TRAINING
All of our official Personal Trainers are not employees of Evofit but are self-employed free-lance professionals. They pay Evofit a fee for the right to train clients at our facility. We ensure they are fully qualified and hold valid insurance policies. When you pay for their services, you enter into an agreement with the Personal Trainer alone and not Evofit. Members are not permitted to bring in their own Personal Trainer or act as a Personal Trainer for other members for financial gain or not. GETTING STARTED

On joining all members are offered a comprehensive induction to instruct you on the use of the gym equipment. You are strongly advised to undertake this. Evofit will not accept any liability for any claim for personal injury if you use the gym equipment having not undertaken an induction from a qualified member of Evofit staff.
If you are unsure as to how to use any piece of equipment you must seek advice from a qualified member of Evofit staff before use such equipment.

ALCOHOL / DRUGS

You may not use the gym whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers or any medication or other substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely. Evofit reserves the right to remove you from the premises if it reasonable believes you are unfit to use the facilities.

GOOD HOUSE KEEPING

Please ensure that you put your weights back in their original place when finished, failure to do so may result in your membership being terminated.

EQUIPMENT MISUSE

Misuse of any of our equipment will not be acceptable. Failure to ensure equipment is used correctly and in a safe manner may result in your membership being terminated.

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING

Please do not take photographs/videos on the premises or post remarks to the internet that may identify another
member.

LOCKER USE

Members are asked to only use the lockers for the duration of their training session. Lockers will be emptied at night and members items removed to lost property.

PERSONAL CONTACT DETAILS

Members must inform Pure Gym Limited of any change of contact and email address or telephone numbers. These changes can be made by email or at reception. By accessing the gym and using the gym equipment members are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of membership.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking, including e- cigarettes are strictly prohibited in all areas of the gym, including the carpark. Any member found to be breach of this rule may have their membership terminated.

PETS

Members may not bring any pets (other than official aid dogs) into the gym.

CLASS BOOKING RULES
 

• Members must arrive promptly for class start times, late arrival may result in being refused entry to the class.

• Members must pre-book all classes to ensure that a class has space for them.

• All class bookings must be booked and cancelled using the Evofit connect members app.

• Members can book classes from 7 days in advance.

• least 2 hours before it starts, or this will be recorded as a no show.result in a 7 day booking ban. Any future classes you have booked will also be cancelled. You must cancel your class at - Evofit operates with a “three strikes” non-attendance rule, whereby three no-shows within a 14 day rolling period will

• Our classes get full. If a member is unable to attend, they should cancel in advance of the class to avoid receiving a strike. This will also allow other members on the waiting list into the class. If a class is full a member can book onto a waiting list. An email will be sent confirming if there is a cancellation, and the member gets moved into the class.
